About Us

The American Lebanese Joint Civic Association is not-for-profit under section 501 (C) (3) and is neither a political nor religious organization. Our mission is to respond to community needs, promote cultural diversity and inclusion, and engage and collaborate with the community on building cultural awareness of the American Lebanese heritage for future generations. Some of our activities include the American Lebanese cultural and research center, health awareness seminars, educational programs (Courses in the Lebanese Arabic language, Phoenician art and music) as well as cultural expositions.

Cultural Center & Research:

The American Lebanese cultural and research center in Lombard, Illinois, is open to the public on Tues, Thurs & Sat.

Phoenician Artwork:

Art Classes with teachers from Lebanon live on Zoom cover Phoenician Artwork through understanding the artwork and actually creating artwork in the Phoenician style.

Networking:

We have a National Database available to help our younger people seek out employment opportunities to network on a national level and find employment opportunities in various sectors.

Medical Awareness:

Our American Lebanese doctors will present educational health seminars promoting medical awareness in Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Oncology, Nephrology, Pain Management, Emergency Medicine, and Allergy Medicine.
